Hi, I'm Allecia Harley

I founded my consulting practice because I've lived the challenges you're facing as a leader. And I've probably faced many of the challenges hindering those you serve.

Raised on food stamps in public and section 8 housing by a single mother, I experienced both the hardships and resilience of poverty. I saw firsthand how good intentions so often fail to bridge the gap to real, lasting outcomes.

Those and other experiences have shaped my entire career. I served as a public health administrator at the third largest health department and school district in the U.S, held strategic roles at a major consulting firm for nonprofits, and later as executive leader at a nonprofit academic medical center.

What drives my work:

Every strategy session, every team development program, every evaluation framework I create is informed by one question: Will this actually help the communities we serve?

I've been there: I understand the communities you serve because I've lived among many of them (rural cornfields, to urban housing projects, to suburban hot spots).
